Pouch

The AI asks.
Your phone answers.

Pouch is not another chat. It's the pouch your existing chats draw from — and you decide what goes in.

  • Runs on your phone — not in somebody's cloud.
  • Connects to the AI chats you already use.
  • Passes on what you share — and nothing else.
How it works

Three steps. Then the AI asks your phone.

Pouch is not another chat. It's the pouch your existing chats draw from.

1

Secure a spot

Sign up with your e-mail. Spots are scarce and assigned by hand.

2

Fill and connect

Whatever the AI may know goes into the pouch — encrypted, in your phone's protected storage. You connect ChatGPT or Claude exactly once.

3

Let it ask

From now on every connected chat knows the context without you retelling it. It asks your phone — and gets what you've shared. Nothing more.

What's in the pouch

Four kinds of content. One place.

Facts

Preferences, constraints, decisions. Noted once — never explained again.

Projects

What you're working on, with status and open points. Every conversation picks up where the last one ended.

Ways of working

How you want things done. Stored once, it applies to every chat you connect.

Friends

Mutually confirmed, nothing less. You decide per person what they see — and can take it back anytime.

Who sees what

Three levels. You choose.

Every entry carries a level. It decides what a connected chat gets — not a provider's goodwill.

Secret

Never leaves the device.

No chat, no friend, no operator — for this level the app simply knows no way out.

Private

Only with your permission.

Goes only to chats you've explicitly allowed. Every share applies individually — and falls individually when you revoke it.

Public

Goes to every connected chat.

The frame you work in. Nothing you'd be uncomfortable with.

No accident: the more private the level, the less glass in the card.

The boundary

The pass-through.

What you share passes through the gap in plain text — no AI could work with it otherwise. Whatever is marked Secret doesn't know the way there.

Scope

The scope grows. The principle never does.

For now Pouch costs nothing — there is simply nothing to buy. The tiers will limit scope later, never the principle: your file lives on your device, and anything sensitive is confirmed there — with a tap no chat can trigger.

No prices here — there are none yet. Pouch is built privately and sits in a closed pre-release phase. Whoever is in now tests with everything their tier allows.

Color

Nine themes. One is yours.

Tap one — the page adopts it instantly. In the app it's the same switch, plus light/dark, three shapes and the glass slider.

Shape

Three shapes. Sharp to round.

The shape switches every radius at once — cards, buttons, fields. In the app it's the same switch.

Honestly

What Pouch does not do.

Three things you should know before trying it — not after. No glass, no soft focus.

No AI model of its own

Pouch doesn't think. It's the filing cabinet, not the clerk — and it stays that way. A built-in model would be the exception to its own promise.

No file in the cloud

Your entries live encrypted on your device. The relay only passes on ciphertext — it cannot open it.

No magic at the receiving end

What you share, the provider reads in plain text — no AI can work with it otherwise. Pouch decides what goes out. What the provider does with it is governed by their terms.

Built with AI

Said before you ask.

Code, copy, this very page: Pouch is largely built in collaboration with an AI assistant. What stays is decided by a human — who carries the responsibility.

Even a reply to your mail may be pre-drafted; it only goes out once a human has read it. An app promising you control over your data doesn't keep quiet about that.

Signing up, installing, setting up — every answer is there because someone had the question. Gently explained, without jargon.
